The Real Nature of Our Universe
Nature consists of everything around us: the earth sky water trees plants fruits flowers oceans rivers lakes streams waterfalls clouds mountains herbs humans animals birds insects planets the sun moon and stars. All these elements together form the entire world.
1. The Earth (Zameen)
The Earth is the place where humans reside. In Islamic belief, Allah has granted humans the status of Ashraful Makhluqaat (the noblest of creations) and none can destroy them except Allah. Other creatures like animals, birds, and insects also live on Earth but humans are the most intelligent among them.
All living beings on Earth strictly require air water and food. However food scarcity is increasing globally and humans themselves are the cause. As populations grow everyone desires houses, properties and bungalows in building these humans are destroying nature, leading to severe food shortages. The population has become so large that managing one another has become difficult. Furthermore in some regions fresh drinking water is unavailable forcing people to import water from other countries.
2. The Sky (Aasmaan)
The sky is not just an empty space the entire universe is established within it. According to the Quran Allahs throne is situated above the seventh heaven.
3. Water: Oceans Rivers Lakes and Waterfalls
Approximately 75% of the Earth is water while only 25% is land. Despite this fresh drinking water is scarce in many places. The oceans are home to fish octopuses turtles snakes and crabs. Humans hunt and consume fish but today fish populations are declining due to the high number of fishermen worldwide.
Humans also use marine life like crabs and fish to create medicines injections, and tonics. Trading these creatures is a source of income for many. Fresh water is primarily found in rivers lakes and especially waterfalls and streams. This fresh water is generated by rain rainwater collects in the mountains and flows through streams and waterfalls into rivers or oceans. Additionally there is fresh water stored beneath the Earths surface.
4. Trees Plants Fruits Flowers and Herbs
These are the sources of our food medicines and wood. There are countless varieties of plants that sustain the many creatures living on Earth. Survival is impossible without them. From these we prepare various dishes medicines and other essential items.
5. Clouds (Badal)
Clouds are the medium through which our world receives rain providing us with fresh drinking water. Without clouds, there would be no rainfall.
6. Mountains (Pahaad)
Mountains play a vital role in rainfall. When clouds collide with mountains, it triggers rain in the surrounding areas. Consequently, mountainous regions often have more natural food sources because they receive significant rainfall. This rain provides the necessary water for trees and plants to grow. Without rain vegetation would perish, which is why most regions experience at least six months of rainfall a year.
7. Humans (Insaan)
Humans are the "Ashraful Makhluqaat." They are the most clever and sensible of all creations possessing a level of intelligence and brainpower unmatched by any other creature in the world.
8. Animals and Birds (Janwar aur Parinde)
Animals are also creations of Allah but they have not been granted the same level of intelligence as humans. While some animals like chimpanzees and monkeys show intelligence religious traditions suggest their origins were different. Allah created many animals and birds to serve as a source of food (sustenance) for humans, which is why they do not possess human-level intellect.
9. Insects (Keedey Makudey)
For many humans insects are seen as pests or dangerous because some are venomous and can be life-threatening. Insects can be destructive to crops causing frustration for farmers. However they are a primary food source for birds and in some cultures, humans also consume certain insects.
10. The Universe: Planets Sun Moon and Stars
The "Universe" (Kainaat) refers to the entire creation. While some people think the Earth is the whole universe the Earth is actually just a tiny part of it. There are 8 primary planets in our solar system:
Mercury Venus Earth Mars Jupiter Saturn Uranus and Neptune.
The Sun and Moon:
The Sun is a star and there is only one in our system positioned closest to Earth to provide light and heat.
The Moon: While Earth has one moon there are over 290 moons across the solar system (Mars has 2 Jupiter has 95+ Saturn has 146+ Uranus has 28 and Neptune has 16).
In the entire universe, it is estimated there are over 200 sextillion stars.
